Description

BIAFINE emulsion is an expert product for the treatment of first- and second-degree burns and all other non-infected skin wounds, with a formula created in 1971 and marketed since 1976. In case of erythema secondary to radiotherapy treatments or second-degree burns it is essential to consult your doctor.

Contraindications
Do not use in case of known allergy to any of the components of BIAFINE, in case of bleeding wounds or infected lesions. Seek medical advice if in doubt. This product is not a sunscreen and should not be used as a preventive measure on healthy skin. Seek medical advice if you are taking any medication at the same time, or if you have recently taken any medication, even without a prescription. Not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women without medical advice. Propylene glycol, Potassium sorbate, Sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 219), Sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 217)

Undesirable effects:
This medicine is an active product and may cause undesirable and troublesome effects in some people. Seek medical advice in the event of undesired effects. Undesirable effects include moderate pain or tingling after application, rare risk of contact allergy, and very rare cases of eczema requiring immediate discontinuation of treatment. Seek medical advice if you notice any undesirable effects.
